I’m an Accredited Practitioner (Fire Safety) for both Fire Safety Assessment (FSA) and Fire Safety Design (FSD). My broad fire safety experience enables me to better assist clients with Annual fire safety statements (AFSS), Fire safety upgrade strategies, Fire safety project management, Commissioning & witness testing, Full function fire testing, System interface testing, detailed review of fire system installation project files, Fire safety asset management strategies, Contract & tendering of fire system installation and maintenance.
Over the last 20 years, I’ve been lucky enough to provide fire safety services in industries like healthcare, aged care, shopping centres, coal and hard rock mining, materials handling plants, airport facilities, defence bases, hotels and offices.
Mathew Dare
With over 25 years of experience in the service and construction industry, 12 of which specifically within the fire industry, my goal is to provide insight education and compliance to our clients.
I’m an Accredited Practitioner (Fire Safety) Fire Safety Assessment & with my extensive experience in construction and project management I am able to assist our clients with project management of fire safety system upgrades, commissioning & witness testing, full function fire testing, system interface testing, detailed review of fire system installation project files, fire safety asset management strategies, contract & tendering of fire system installation and maintenance.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to provide our services wide variety of commercial buildings in varying industries such as health care and large-scale medical research facilities, shopping centres and retail facilities, aged care, defence, airports and hotels. I have been involved from the development stage all the way through to maintenance and upgrades.

I have had the privilege of working alongside AFIs executive team since the launch of the
company. My role is to ensure smooth office operations and a friendly, efficient form of
communication to our customers.
As well as helping oversee the day to day running of the business, my job requires strong
multitasking abilities, including managing schedules, travel arrangements, handling
correspondence, coordinating meetings, and maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive work
environment.
